The Girl with the Purple Triangle: Persecution and Resistance of Jehovahs Witnesses under the Nazi Regime
May 1944, among a group of Jehovahs Witnesses arrested by the Gestapo
and sent to Stutthof concentration camp for their religious beliefs was a
young girl from Danzig named Hermi. Like many others, she was not
expected to survive the campbut she did.

recounts the suffering of men, women and children under the East German
Communist State because of their Christian beliefs. But just as the
Nazis failed in their attempt to eliminate Jehovahs Witnesses, the
Communists were unable to wipe out their faith, zeal and the spirit of
the early Christian Church.
