The Word - contains the New Testament of the King James version of the Bible plus 25 additional New testament English Translations all in one volume. Great research tool! The Word is a parallel translation that uses 26 different Bible translations to compare with the King James version. Not all 26 translations are quoted for every verse, only those that have a significant difference from the KJ. This translation is not published by the watchtower but may be used to support the New World translation (NWT). For example several of the translations use Jehovah's name, and the word sheol. Also for spurious texts such as 1John 5:7,8 the footnote acknowledges that it is "not adequately supported by the original manuscripts". This translation may also be useful for researching talks and giving amplified meaning to certain texts. Size is 8-1/2 x 11 x 7/8.
